NEWS FROM THE PATHHEAD WOMENS RURAL INSTITUTE

The Pathhead 'Rural' will meet on every 2nd Monday of the month in The Pathhead Pavilion from September onwards. Membership is £10 for the season, plus £1 per meeting for tea and raffle ticket. Previous meetings have included a Whist and Domino evening, Chocolatier demonstration, jewellery demonstration, cake icing demonstration. Monthly competitions too. Walking

Pathhead is situated in some very beautiful countryside and many enjoyable and picturesque walks. Some are relatively easy, others quite challenging. For deatails see PATHHEAD WALKS

 

There is an informal local walking group, which meets on a fortnightly basis on a Wednesday, at 10am outside Pathehad Village Hall. Walks last about 90 minutes. Details can be obtained from David Richardson, 01875 320041.

Visit  Oxenfoord castle and Crichton castle.

Tour the Glenkinchie Distillery

Go for a walk around Vogrie Country Park or play golf there.

 

Have a meal or a drink in either the Stair Arms or the Forresters.  Have fish and chips at the L’Aurora.
